Why does a laptop lid feel cold to touch?

STRESS STRESS STRESS uhh .. fire running through hairs, hears & forehead totally my head was like red burning firewood and was about to smash my laptop lid by my left hand, WOW!! Something strange, felt somewhat COOL. That takes my mind off from workspace. Felt why I shouldn’t make this lid as pillow for a moment. What was that really….? Looking at Canara bank envelop lying on my desk, remembered a scenario which happened when we friends travelling from Bangalore to Mandya in a train. There in train, looking at Canara bank Add  posted in compartments wall “You have dream, will fulfill it”, I told my friend similarly Google should have something like “Have a query, I have answer”. Then I got the below…..,

Metals feel cold when you touch them because they are good conductors of heat. They conduct heat away from the skin on your hand and the temperature receptors in your skin register this as a drop in temperature, so the surface of the metal appears to be cool.

Why few people prefer to sit on floor and eat?

Person having the meal sitting on the floor has to bend significantly to consume food and hence stomach gets pressed. After consuming food, the person takes his chest back to position to sit straight. This cycle helps the movement of the abdominal muscles. The constant movement of abdominal muscles causes the secretion of digestive juices which in turn assists the consumed food become softer and facilitates the process of digestion.
   In other case,

person having his meal sitting on the dinning table has to bend his neck slightly, as plate comes upto chest level.

Why ceiling fan rotates in anticlockwise direction?

The Table fan's motor is fixed to the stand and its rotor rotates with the fan blades, whereas in case of a Ceiling Fan the Motor rotates and its inner rotor is fixed to the ceiling clamp. If that has to run in clock wise direction then it pushes the Fan in anticlockwise direction. It means both the ceiling fan and the table fan both works in the same direction but since its design varies it appears to rotate in opposite direction.

Also very few countries design ceiling fans that could rotate either way depending on whether winter or summer. Heat depending on the season you'd pick the direction. One way would remove the hot air from the ceiling and circulate it into the room (winter) while the other direction would recirculate the hot air within the room making it feel cooler (summer). It's as simple as to replicate natural air density phenomenon "It allows down-flow during the warm season and up flow during the winter".

Standards are made to ordinary but not for extraordinary, because they did it.
More than standard style(assuming ceiling fan preferred for comparatively bigger room space).

This uniquely curved blades that push air down at an angle rather than straight down like a standard fan.

Q:Can I use a ceiling fan outside?

Why women shirts would have button on left side?

Mens’ buttons are on the right side because men have always tended to dress themselves.
It doesn't mean women do not!!
But years ago (say, during the Victorian Era), the women that could afford fancy clothing with a bunch of buttons would rely on maids to help dress them. So, if a servant is going to routinely buttoning up a shirt/dress for someone else, they prefer to have the buttons on their right side (which would be the left side of the garment).
Wasn't she thought that, she could hire left handed maid...? instead of going against...
Anyway thanks to our beloved kings, though it was difficult for their wives(maids) while buttoning.
